I have been dating this guy for 1 yr. He has told me he needs some space. He says he still wants to be with me we just see too much of eachother (4-5 dys wk.) What type of relationship can you have 1-2 dys a wk?
He also seems somewhat distant. I am so confused I don’t know what to do. It makes no sence to me. Am I just blowing this out of proportion? It just seem so easy for him, no calls nothing. — Leigh

Leigh, some relationships can work just fine when people are living across country from each other and only get together a few times a year so the amount of time spent together does not determine how successful a relationship is.
Dating is the time when you get to see whether or not your relationship with someone is strong enough to take it to the next level. Maybe that’s what he’s trying to do. Give him his space and take some space of your own.
Ask him if he wants to start dating other people and if he does don’t sit at home waiting for the phone to ring. Go out with friends, discover new friends, and widen your world. Now’s the time before you get locked into a committed relationship. — Queenie
