Help!!!!!! My boyfriend of three years has heard rumors of me cheating, but… I havn’t!! He says he wants to believe me but its hard to when so many are telling him these things. Not to mention someone has called him and said “your girlfriend hasn’t been faithful to you…” What? Who is this guy!
I know him.. and so does my boyfriend. This guy has tried to win me over before, but I wouldn’t give in. Could this be a way for him to get back at me? Is there anyway to help my chances of my boyfriend believing me?

Sherri, anyone can say anything about anyone. Your actions are going to prove the rumors either right or wrong. Do you flirt a little too much? Is there a reason for your boyfriend to have doubts? Were you dating someone else when you and he got together?
You can’t “make” him believe you if he’s determined to believe what he hears from others and ignore what you tell him. If that’s the case, and there’s no basis for the rumors, then you may be better off without him. A strong relationship can’t be destroyed by the words of others. A weak one can. — Queenie
