I’ve been in a relationship with someone I love deeply for 5 years. I suspect he’s also been seeing someone else off and on. Of course, he is of the deny till you die mentality, but my intuition is screaming at me.
I have this woman’s email address. Should I email her and try to get her to confirm my suspicions? I feel this is the only way I will ever get the true answers and be able to either move on or trust him. — Elizabeth

Elizabeth, how do you know she’ll give you the “true” answers? What if she lies? Or shows your email to him? Don’t compound the situation by contacting her unless you’re ready to deal with anything that might come out of that contact.
A relationship without trust isn’t really a good relationship. If he has a history of cheating and lying about it and your instincts are telling you he’s currently cheating and lying to you, isn’t it time to walk away from this guy? He won’t change no matter how much you love him.
