I write to you for a better understanding on the woman I am in love with. My biggest problem with her is that whenever I try and talk to her about things that are bothering me, more often than not if it is something she does not want to hear, she gets angry and it turns into a fight.
She recently told me that she needs her space and time to figure things out. But here is my question, why does giving someone their space mean you feel like you got the plague?
I am a good man. Flowers, cards, opening doors, telling her she was beautiful every single day, you know the things a good man does without thinking. But she need her space. Any suggestions so I don’t lose my mind? — Miguel

Miguel, perhaps you’re spending too much time with her. She might not be ready for the type of relationship you’re looking for. If she wants space, give it to her. Don’t call her, don’t send her flowers, don’t give her gifts. Give her space.
