My boyfriend and I have been dating since Dec and I got pregnant in Feb. Just recently I was at his house, his phone rang and I answered it. It was a girl on the other end. She hung up on me. She called back on Sunday and told me that she and my boyfriend have been dating since Oct and just broke up in March.
My boyfriend tells me that they broke up a long time ago and that she won’t leave him alone. My question is… can I trust him and do I continue to believe what he is telling me? Please I need help from someone that’s not involved. Thank you. — DJ

DJ, I don’t know if he’s lying or if you can trust him because I’m not involved with this relationship. It’s possible that his ex is trying to cause trouble and is actually lying about their involvement, or maybe she’s telling the truth and he’s lying.
You have to trust him until there is proof that he can’t be trusted. Right now you need to concentrate on your pregnancy and keeping yourself fit so that you can give birth to a healthy baby. And do make sure that he remains financially responsible for you and the child.
If he’s a cheater, it’ll be obvious without you looking for clues. If he’s not a cheater, don’t waste the time trying to find something that’s not there. If you suspect he’s a cheater and still cheating, please practice safe sex with him. — Queenie
