Dear Queenie, I was talking to a couple of my x boyfriends, they are now 12 and 16. They told me that they have had sex. They say they are christians, but I believe if they really were christians they wouldn’t be having premarital sex.
When they told they have had sex that really lowered my trust in them. Should I tell them to wait until they are married to do it again, or should I just let them do their own thing?

Personally, I think you’re sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong and imposing your beliefs on others who have a right to their own beliefs, just as you have a right to yours. Christians do a lot of things that might not fit into your belief system.
Tell them to wait? If you’re their mother or father you can “tell” them as a caring parent but don’t expect them to never have sex again. If you’re a caring friend you’ll suggest that if they’re not going to wait until marriage that they at least respect their bodies enough to use condoms and practice safe sex. — Queenie
