Daisy, if my math is right, you’ve been with this guy since you were 13 and he was 12. He really doesn’t have a reason to get married, does he? If you’re living with him, he has nothing to gain by getting married so why shouldn’t he be happy with things as they are? If you want more you’ll have to tell him what you need and then set a deadline. Be prepared to follow through with whatever ultimatum you give him if he decides he doesn’t want to get married. — Queenie
