Me and my boyfriend only recently got together, and though all our friends think we’re rushing it, he’s already told me he loves me and i don’t want to lose him, or my friends. I think i love him too, but if i say it i don’t want my friends to think i’m abandoning them and ignoring their opinions.
However, he is moving across the country next month and though i don’t want to lose him, i’ve tried long distance before and it ended badly, so i don’t know what to do. he’s asked to carry on the relationship, but i don’t know what to say to him. I don’t want to say no and lose him now, but i don’t want to be worse of later because it didn’t work out. Any ideas?

There are plenty of people who have been in long distance relationships that didn’t end badly. If his love is true, a little distance for a while shouldn’t do anything but strengthen how he feels about you. It will also give you time to figure out if you care as much about him. If he says he loves you in order to have a booty call then, whether you’re here or there, the relationship will eventually end badly.
Listen to your friends and take it slowly. That’s what I think. ~ Queenie
