Sometimes It’s Just Over

Queenie, my boyfriend of almost 3 yrs has decided he wants to end our relationship because of all the problems we’ve endured the past 5 months. I agree we’ve had some rough times during the 5 months we’ve been fighting and saying very mean things to each other.

He has isolated me from everything he is doing and when he’s with me I don’t feel like he’s with me because he’s constantly texting or calling others. He’s found some new friends and have not introduced me to any of them.

When he leaves me I don’t have a clue as to how to get in contact with him because he does not answer his phone or any texts I send him. However, when he’s with me he never puts his phone down. He accuses me of things I’m not doing or haven’t done to him.

I love him so much that this is tearing me apart and all I do is think of him and don’t want us to separate but I know this is not up to me. It still does not stop the pain I feel inside.

I get so angry when I think about him being with anyone else. Yet, he acts like it’s nothing for us to be breaking up and how we must do this so we can get on with our lives. How can I let go and move on when I’m still so in love with him and don’t want it to be over.
Sorry, it doesn’t matter what you want, he’s checked out of this relationship. His actions say he’s gone. His words say he’s gone. All that’s left is for him to stop seeing you at all.

You need to gather up whatever dignity you have left and let this dog out of the house for good. He disrespects you when he’s with you, and he certainly disrespects you when you’re not around. Don’t you deserve better?

This isn’t a great love story any more. Close the book on it and find a real man who will treat you like the lady you were and will be again.

Just my two cents. You’ll do what you have to do. ~ Queenie
