When you are “separated” you are still married. Even if you feel that your marriage is going to end in divorce, there is no absolute guarantee of that until the legalities are over. More than one couple has reconciled prior to their divorce decree being finalized.
What happens if you get into a relationship with someone else and then you and your husband decide to try one more time? There’s too much else to deal with when you’re going through divorce to have to also deal with the complexities of a new relationship.
After divorce it’s a necessity to take time to adjust to life as a single and deal with the baggage you take out of a failed marriage so that you don’t carry it into a new relationship.
Is it wise? No. That’s my opinion. — Queenie
