Cyber Romeo and Juliet

I have a friend whom I have known for one year srictly from over the internet and since we’ve met….our friendship has blossomed into a highly sexually attracted, physically, romantically, mentally ( intullectually), and spiritually love relationship….. but…..

I have a 13 year old daughter that I made a rather foolish promise to in the past (due to a marriage gone almost deadly due to severe spousal abuse toward me ), that I would never get that close to another man again…..and these feeling that S & I having toward one another are just about killing us not to just out & out reveal to everyone……yet, I’m sure it wouldn’t take a “rocket scientist” to see that we are very much in love with one another when we are together.

I also promised my daughter that I would never move her out from new school to another new school and area or state again….she’s tired of re-locating, ( and who could blame her).

But S. lives two states away from me and I drive there on my time off ….I get three day weekends or every once in awhile….He flies out to be with us. I am so torn; I feel like I am living a modern day version of: Romeo & Juliet!!! — Nik
…………………………………..

Nik, we all make promises that we believe we’ll be able to keep even though some of them are unrealistic. Hasn’t your daughter ever made a promise she later broke? It isn’t fair to you to put your love life on hold for the next five or more years until she’s grown and starting a life of her own.

HOWEVER, if it has only been an online relationship for most of the past year with just a few face-to-face meetings, there hasn’t been enough time for you to really get to know this person well enough to make a major move such as moving in together, moving to another state, etc. Maybe the two of you do have true love, but that’s what everyone thinks at the beginning of a relationship. Time will shake out true love from true lust.

Give this relationship time to mellow. If you move too fast and make a mistake you will cause damage that will be very difficult to repair. Slow and easy! — Queenie
