Hey Queenie!! I hope all is well with you!! I just wanted to stop by and give you an update! I did call my MM to give him my condolences about his dad passing (I would have done the same for any other co-worker as well) and he said that it meant alot to him. We talked briefly, and both realized (again) that had we continued it would have been a total disaster. He also realized what he has in his relationship with his wife and is even more appreciative of her now (if that’s possible?)
Since we agreed to stop communicating we have only spoken a hand full of times and that has been at work and about work and that’s it!!
I’m a little disappointed that you assumed automatically that I was looking for an excuse just to contact him in “hopes of catching him in a weak moment?” Not all of us are bad people, we are (and I’m speaking for myself and my situation only) normal, and yes we sometimes make mistakes. But, sometimes, we have the common sense, forsight, knowledge, compassion, heart HELP and will to do the right thing. Which I am so happy to say that we did!!!!
I’m also sorry that you felt like you were becoming my therapist, I thought that’s what this site was about, helping people when their lives are in the dumpster? I am so very thankful that I found you though!! You didn’t always tell me what I wanted to hear, but you said what was right, what was true and what I already knew. So for that I thank you a million times over!!!!
